Hello, my dear ones, and welcome to our first blog post from Bubble Events! Bubble Events was founded in the year 2020 when I, Barbara, found the perfect opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream - to open my own event agency! With all the time and uncertainty we suddenly faced due to COVID-19 and lockdown, I simply thought, "If not now, then when?"

Since my early years, during school and throughout my studies (BA, Business and Management), I started to dip my toes into the hospitality industry and gradually gained experience in various areas. I completed a hospitality course, worked as a waitress in various restaurants, then served as a hostess in many hotels, and collaborated closely with event managers (such as Manpower, anyact, Hilton Hotel, Schutzhaus am Schafberg, Aperol, etc…). Even back then, everything about events fascinated me, so out of curiosity, I tried to participate in various events or work there - whether it was a wedding, trade show, corporate party, or festival - I was very interested in the organization, planning, and creativity behind them. The more I learned, the more I wanted to dive into the event world - I only wanted to do events! I also had the opportunity to work as a volunteer at some really cool events, such as Life Ball, Pioneers Festival and Eurovision.

Once I completed my Master's degree (MA, International Business and Management), it was finally time for me to find a full-time job. I was thrilled when I started as a Volunteer Coordinator at the Pioneers Festival - one of the largest tech startup festivals in Europe at the time - where I gradually worked my way up to become a Sales & Partnership Manager!

When I reached my learning peak there, I decided to pursue another Master's degree in Event Management, Marketing & Communications. During that time, I also began working at Moody Monkey, where I could learn a lot about event marketing. I also had the fantastic opportunity to work with major brands like Campari, Aperol, and Averna, which was incredibly exciting!

Shortly after, the COVID-19 crisis hit, but I didn't let it deter me. I plunged headlong into building Bubble Events!

On the side, I also decided to join the latest trend in the market and organize 'Digital & Hybrid Events.' I became a team member of der brutkasten and continue to learn about the latest technologies, marketing tools, and event concepts to this day.

While my heart beats for all these endeavors, it still beats strongly for Bubble Events, which I plan to grow big for you and with you together!

Why Bubble Events?

I founded Bubble Events not only because I enjoy organizing and planning but also because through extensive research, experience, and inspiration, I noticed that most event agencies in Austria (Vienna) tend to follow a very standard and outdated approach. Nothing against traditional event agencies - they are essential, and I have learned a lot from them - but I wanted to offer something different and bring innovative ideas to Austria that are already present in countries like the USA, Italy, or Spain.

Furthermore, after more than 10 years of experience in event management, I am delighted to have built a vast network in the hospitality industry. I had the opportunity to connect with some of the coolest individuals and businesses in Vienna, giving me access to the best service providers. It's an ongoing process, but that's what excites me - conducting research on the latest trends, discovering new hypes, and getting to know amazing people with whom I can establish fruitful collaborations!

As mentioned earlier, I have accumulated years of experience in every aspect of the hospitality and events industry! And, of course, we are constantly researching the latest trends and hypes happening in events all over the world.

We have now decided to share these wonderful ideas and experiences with you - we want to become the go-to platform where brides and grooms, individuals, or companies can gather information for their events or get inspired!
